We can’t wait until the human population peaks at 10 billion in 2060, as this will cause severe, irreversible environmental damage. Immediate action is needed to address population growth, particularly in Africa, Asia, and South America. Homelessness exacerbates environmental destruction, especially in countries like Nigeria (24.4 million homeless), Pakistan (20 million), Egypt (12 million), Syria (6.56 million), the Democratic Republic of Congo (5.3 million), Bangladesh (5 million), and Colombia (4.94 million). This crisis is worsened by government corruption and a flawed global economic system. Immediate measures are essential to save our planet.
